What is the difference between origami paper and regular paper?

I used to buy my paper in crafting shops, but now I oder it online from a store that imports japanese paper. you can find some on amazon if you serach for "TOYO paper"
Origami paper or often called "Kami" (jap.: paper) is usally thinner than ordinary paper. the classic kami is colored on the front and white on the backside, thats the main difference from ordinary paper
tracing paper is also good although it is hard to reverse fold since the paper is so thin you can't really reverse the edge
baking paper( pallete paper) is also extremely good
